Organofying!

Chemicals, Chemicals, and Chemicals- Chemicals are everywhere around us. Have you ever thought what these chemicals do to our life?? Destruction!. Today, in this technologically advanced environment where we live, every single thing in our life contains chemicals.  The food we eat has been produced or processed via artificial sources, pesticides etc. The dress we wear contains lots of synthetic unbreakable chemicals.  Almost every product we use in our household, such as floor cleaning, dishwashing, laundry products etc. all contain chemicals.  These chemicals continuously emit fumes and vapours that are so harmful to our health and our lives.

Today, can we think to live without all these household helps? – Finger licking tasty rather addicted food? –  For some people no, or super difficult.  But just for an instance if we think about our life which we only have one chance to live – we better decide to take the super, super difficult decision of transforming our lives into an organic lifestyle.

Webster defines “Organic living is a lifestyle that is healthy for you and the environment. As for foods, organic means food produced with the use of feed or fertilizer of plant or animal origin without employment of chemically formulated fertilizers, growth stimulants, antibiotics, or pesticides.

Life coaches suggested following small steps to transform your unhealthy lifestyle into a healthy and organic lifestyle.

  1. Start with our food. Food is an essential item of our life, a reason to live, or an essential need to live.  Taking the first step to change our food from chemically produced or artificially processed food in healthy organic food can bring small but important change in our life.  Trying to start with replacing some of our daily or weekly grocery items with more natural alternatives. Using lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Trying to buy organic meat, eggs, and other dairy product. Thinking of replacing processed snacks with organic nuts, replacing our synthetically produced oil to naturally extract, olive oil and coconut oil for cooking.
  2. Recycle and reuse. Every time we recycle the items in our home or using the recycled or pre-owned items we save tons of toxin to spread destruction in our life.
  3. Healthy Commuting. Nothing is more comfortable and luxurious to have a car for commuting in life. But have we ever thought about the amount of chemicals these vehicles emit in our environment?  I am not saying that we should get rid of the car/s, even for some of us commuting by car is the main part of the job function.  What my point here is trying to avoid using the car whenever possible. Taking a walk for the grocery or buying grocery from the store near our homes, and for office commute we can try car polling etc.
  4. Dresses, Linen, and towels. We can move to a healthy shift by making a healthy choice while buying dresses, towels bed linen etc.  A better shift can be the fabric made up of pure cotton or warm clothes made up of pure wool.
  5. Organic life routines. Try to cook food at home, avoid using microwaves, I am thinking to grow my small organic kitchen garden. Avoid alcohol and smoking, try using food items like lemon, baking soda, vinegar for house cleaning etc.

Lastly, we shouldn’t have to be too rigid to our self in changing our lifestyle. As a matter of fact, taking a 360-degree turn toward adopting an organic and healthy lifestyle is not a one day story.  Take small steps based on what you learn and experience and gradually bring healthy transformation to your life. The important thing is whatever we have learned, the positive steps towards our healthy lives, we should try to promote it in our social circle and if you have any confusion or need more solid information for going ahead in your healthy and organic life regime- try contacting the life coaches and experts.
